Rear Cup Holders?

Do the rear pull down cup holders actually hold drinks? Since I purchased my tahoe used, I don't know if I am missing inserts for the rear cup holders. All drinks just flop right out of the holders with any movement of the truck.

You are probably not missing anything, they are not the beast designed, but one thing I have notice is not the put large cups in there. (like a large cup of tea from McDonalds) If so make sure someones in the back hold it when you make a turn. But something small is always okay for me.

Ya large drinks fall out alot. I think its because of the angle in sets at once its folded down.

Yes I have been trying to find pictures online of the cup holders. It looks like they are all built like mine. Even the 20 once bottles don't stay since the cut out in the holders (for maybe cup handles) placed right in the back of the holder gives no support for drinks. Especially when accelerating it throws the drinks right out cause of the cut out. Can't believe they would have designed something so simple so poorly.

I bet it was an afterthought, they probably finished the console and said you know what it's missing something.....yeah add some cup holders! Because there are already cup holders in the fold down armrest on the bench seat.

HAHAHA....if only I had a bench seat to solve the problem. These are the only cup holders bucket seats get. I really sucks having to tell the passengers they have to hold their own drinks, LOL

No drinks allowed in the car. So, problem solved. But yes, they are very poorly designed.
