Are there programming options for increasing rear defrost time (with Tech 2 maybe)?

Mine seems to be on for really short time. I haven't timed it, but is is only like 5-10 minutes, before it goes off.

Winter is almost over, but it is really annoying to have to keep hitting the button on longer drives with snow and ice accumulating.

Have not seen anything in the Tech 2 to increase the time. Spec is "about 10 minutes."

Well GM engineers... thanks for that feature!

Must be fun on a 12 hour drive in the middle of a Nor'easter.

Doing the math on this hypothetical trip:
6 ten-minute defrost cycles/hr x 12 hours = 72 button hits!!!

This is how I would have liked to see it set up...
Once I start driving, I would want it to be on until I shut defrost off or the truck is turned off.

My '20 Traverse stays on a long time vs my '11 Tahoe. Tahoe's like to burn off the wire terminals on the glass though so don't wish for longer run times.
Besides worry about where you're going not where you've been. :D
