My back doors keep corroding up and then I can't get the locks to open and the rear defrost won't work. I have sanded the pins with fine sandpaper but that only lasts for a little while. Any suggestions as to what I could do to fix this??

Clean them with acetone, then get some dielectric grease and put copious amounts on the contacts, that will keep the water (and thus salt) off the brass parts. Sanding them all the time just roughens up the surface and exposes more metal to water and salt.
