Another issue I'm having... Took my rear door panels off to begin my audio upgrade and I am noticing with all this rain my rear doors are holding water in the bottom and filling up to the point of spilling over into the interior when I drive (sloshing around). What can I do for this... Replace the window seals? Is there a drain at the bottom of the door that is clogged?

I understand SOME water is supposed to pass through a door, but we are talking about filling up the door in one rain storm...
Thanks,
Evan

I had the same thing happen...in just one rain storm and it has never done it again. If they are still full open them and shake the door back and forth. Mine had some dirt or something blocking the holes on the bottom of the door that lets the water pass through the door...so when I started shaking it (opening and closing) quickly it dislodged whatever was clogging the holes and like I said it hasn't done it again. Good luck!

Is your M3 an HPF? I am seriously thinking about purchasing an 05 or 06 m3 and putting an HPF on it and just wanted to see how you liked yours... AMG Eater is a great name! haha (I am a huge Bimmer guy)

Do a search on this and you'll see my post about it. The dealer will replace some seals if you take it in.

Mine happens every time, I will check for dirt in the bottom of the door as shaking it out works every time. My issue is I am putting very expensive speakers in the doors and don't want them getting ruined so I need to get to the bottom of why its getting in there in the first place...

Yes my M3 was HPF (and is there right now). I just had them remove the kit from my car (to sell it), however if you are interested, you can buy it before it leaves and have the stage 2 kit re installed! Its an 06 M3 coupe with competition package, 6 speeed manual, white/black, NO SUNROOF, etc., etc. Great car. PM me for more details...

AMG ETR,
Did you try to shake them and see if something was plugging the holes, yet? Did that work for you? If not, I would go to the dealer; they will be able to diagnose/repair this issue for you. Let us know what you find out.

I was able to get the water our by sticking something in the holes and unclogging them... What a crappy design... Still going to replace the window seals, can't have rain ruining the speakers I am putting in (around $1,000 worth per door).
Thanks guys,
Evan
