Is there a way to remove the headrests on the back seats including the chrome stems of my 03 Yukon? I cant get my kids car seat to sit as far back as it should with the headrests in place? Or is there a way to fold it back with the seat in the upright positon? If it makes a difference its the rear driver side seat.

Thanks

if you have the bench seat you can fold the seat down to where the headrest flips back and then pick the seat back up without folding the headrest back up. once you flip the bottom of the seat up you should be ok and the headrest will stay folded down until you or your kids flip it back up and lock it in place.

Look under neath the headrest you should see little square plastic boss ,on one edge of it there is a small hole ,insert a small wire or what ever fits and push in a little bit and lift up ,you may have to work back and forth from one post to the other but it will lift off.

Sometimes the best answers are the easiest solution. Thanks for the idea it worked great. I was so damn focused on why the headrests were non removable I didnt put anythought into the obvios. Thanks 01TX :Handshake:
