rear heat issue

i know this has been talked to death but i can't find the right answer. my rear blower works, moves from floor to roof, and system has been reset. when i swap the 2 actuators in the rear box the one in the temp pos. still defaults out and wont change even though i know the actuator is good. i have also tried disconecting the console control and same thing. is it possible that the overhead control has a faulty temp. switch in it?

Ive got the same issue. Ive verified both actuators work by swapping them. The only work around Ive figured is to lock the blend door down to full heat for winter. (Did this by screwing a metal piece onto the blend tab that restricted movement) Then I put the fan and the position switch onto auto and set the temp. Itll control fan speed to set temp. It works fine in winter but will mean pulling it apart to set to cold in summer.
