I am about to get some rear lift coil spacers for my Tahoe. I have a few question on them.
First off I currently have 1.5" lower strut lift spacer on the Tahoe right now but will be putting a 2" one shortly. It currently sits .5" higher in the rear with the 1.5" kit installed.
Ok the questions are;
1. Do you get the stated lift from the spacer or do you get a little more? I want around .75 to 1" of lift.
2. Can you mount the spacer on the top of the spring instead of the bottom? I want to kind of hide the spacer.
3. What material is better? metal(billet aluminum), polyurethane plastic (daystar .75" spacer), or Delrin plastic?
I am leaning toward the Daystar .75" kit but I heard bad things from them braking down over time. And I was looking at 1" kit made out of the other materials. I just don't want too much rear lift and have it sit like it was in stock form.
