Today I started trying to remove the exhaust ..I was able to get all 3 nuts on the passenger side exhaust manifold unbolted. But on the drivers side im having a hard time getting the 2 remaining nuts off. Im unable to get my impact with swivel and extentions to the nut on the driver side because the frame is sort of in the way..Im able to get an open end wrench thru the driver side wheel well but not enough force to break it loose. Anyone have any tricks for getting the nuts on the driver side off...

What size is the exhaust stud nut...I have been using a 15mm impact socket

Got the rounded exhaust nut off using a deep socket extractor..and the remaining bolts of the driver side now onto the crossmember,

I use one similar. You just need to move the starter out of the way so I leave the cables hooked up, remove the bolts and just slide it into a cranny on top of the frame.

The starter has already been removed already. Can this tool be purchased locally??

I don't remember this being all that difficult. I didn't have to use any special tools. I may have manually put the transmission into park to lock it in place while undoing the bolts, but I don't think I even had to do that. I may have given the wrench a good sharp wack to break torque.
