Rear Park assist off

Today I back out of the garage and had the message "rear park assist off" show up on the dic. When I push the park assist button on the dash it flashes. Anyone ever had this happen? Tried a couple thread searches but couldn't find anything. Any suggestions?

Mine does something like that while sometimes under WOT. No idea why haha

I would start with washing the sensors

Mine does that when in reverse but with parking brake on (before I have a chance to take parking brake off)

Went out to the store for the wife and now all is back to normal? Need to get under and see if there is a loose connection.

I found my 07 does the same thing. I was testing the parking brake at the time (VA inspection) and got that message.

It was fine again the next time I started it up.
