Rear speakers not working

I have a 1997 Tahoe LT 4 door and my rear speakers are not working. The rear door speakers don't work at all and I have a tiny bit of sound coming out of the right side overhead rear speakers. Haven't messed with the overheads yet but tried to replace the door speakers and nothing. I was told there should be a sound booster under the driver seat that might be bad but my tahoe does not have one unless it is located somewhere else.

pull rears out and take them out, see if they work, or either its the HU amp.

check all your rear speakers one bad speaker that is grounding out can kill all sound to the speakers

If you need to hard wiring them to the deck, that is if your HU is aftermarket is always an option.
