I just replaced my 4x10 with 6x9 a few weeks ago.. The speaker mount in the rear has to be cut wider to fit the bigger speaker. I used a dremel tool for this. The first pic is stock and the second pic is work in progress. I used tan paint as a general guide to the speaker size but turned out it wasn't that close so a few trial fits were needed to finish.
