Hi all, I just traded a Wrangler for a 1999 Yukon Denali yesterday. I have owned a lot of Suburbans before that all had barn doors so this is new to me. I have the glass lift gate. Sorry if thats not the right term for it. The previous owner had a tree break the back glass. They replaced the hatch with one from a Blazer. I really dont care about losing the defrost and wiper but the shocks do not line up. They did not hook anything up so I now have to hold it up to put anything in the back. The mounts seem to be different between the Yukon and Blazer. Is there a way I can make this work or will I need to invest in replacing it with new glass. I got the original frame with the wiper set up with the vehicle. Just not wanting to spend $300.00 locally to have glass replaced if I can make what is on there now work. Is there a company that sells just glass reasonable? I looked on line and did not really see anything. Any help with this?

:welcome: Exact rwplacement would be best so as to put every thing back to normal. Have you tried Safelite.com? It quoted me 248 with labor included to remount equipment + tax where I live on your vehicle. Doesnot hurt to ask if they will just sell you the glass or ask the same of a body shop.
