I have a 2007 Tahoe, the rear wiper arm is stuck. I removed the nut that holds it to the motor. But the arm will not pull off the motor stud. Took it to Monro's break and muffler, they tell me that they need to take the motor apart to get it off. Is this true and is there a easy way to remove the arm?

Penetrating oil?

Soak it very long time.

Monro people are jaxkasses anyway.

To remove the motor the inside cover has to be removed. Also the arm has to come off first.

Correct, in order to remove the motor the Arm has to be removed first. Lube it up, and push down on the arm while pulling on the base where it meets the motor shaft. Usually always works. Very rarely do I have to use a slide hammer on a rear wiper. Plus, they break easy with too much force
