Just putting this out to make members aware that they may run into this issue and to see if others have seen the same problem.
Less than 3500 miles on my 2024 Yukon, tired to clean the rear window to other day. Washer worked fine, wiper did not move. Tried a few times, same thing. Had a 2 hour drive so had a lot of time to think about it. No indication that the rear glass or rear gate was not fully closed, rear glass did not flip up while driving even at highway speeds for most of 2 hour drive.
Arrived home, popped rear glass and closed again, low and behold the rear wiper works again!
So there may be something with the rear glass closed detection that caused this, could be some strange software problem where the truck was "awake" but not running when I opened and closed the back glass.
Will keep and eye on this and see if it happens again and is repeatable.
Anybody else experience this, please comment.
