Rebuilt 6L80 trans want let truck start

I had my 6L80 transmission rebuilt for a 2011 Chevy Silverado. Once installed the truck want start. Took it to dealer; stated that the range sensor not plugged in or bad. Can anyone help with issue.

Well, the dealer can, they would have to drop the pan and plug it in or replace it. You can see how it works and connects here:


FF to 4:17 and watch. This is a 6L90, but the parts in question are identical. Richard goes into more detail with how it works in other videos.

Hopefully it's just bad.
I can't imagine not plugging it in when assembling the transmission.
It's part of reinstalling the TECHM to the valve body.

If they forgot it or didn't plug it in, what else did they forget...

I hope it's simple!
