I am havign some issues with my AC right now.

I ahve read that a probably cause of this may be needing to add coolant, or to recharge the system?

I can't find any threads out there on this, but I am thinking that I inject the coolant into the port farthest away from the aluminum vessel?

I bought an R-134A refill kit at a local shop and the nozzle from the canister doesn't seem to fit the low pressure fitting of my truck?

Am I trying to attach it to the nozzle that is located towards the front of the hood area, and located on the smaller diameter aluminum pipe.

I see there is another port of the aluminum vessel (I am assuming it is the condenser), but that would only make sense if it were the high side?

thanks for the help.

One of the better things to do would be to take it to a shop, and have them vacuum the lines, then recharge it. There could be air in the system as well, and their AC Machine will solve that.
