Are you looking to buy online, or for a local shop? If local, a general location would be helpful. Good luck!

I am building my 4L65E right now and am adding/upgrading the following: Alto Wide Band, Corvette Servo( already had) and Sonnax Superhold 4th servo (already had), superior shift kit 4L60E-L, Beast Sunshell, and Raybestos ZPack. I will be blocking off the PWM valve and 4th gear accumulator like precision Precision Transmission does. Because I have the 65e transmission, I did not need to upgrade to 5 pinion planets. Also, I am only making 500 HP, so I will not be changing my input and output shafts.

Thanks for the reply. Good question. I’m in Northern California. I do have a local shop. But was researching some upgrade options on Monster. Maybe buy online and have a local shop install.

This is good recommendations. Precision trans knows their stuff.

I build mine similarly as well, and abuse them. Wide band, .500 boost valve, Corvette servo, z pak, PWM block off, 4th gear accumulator block off, change the other two accumulators to aluminum, transgo shift kit, transgo HD valve body separator plate, I use plastic for all the check balls, and the hardened sunshell.

'60e will hold up to a fair amount with these upgrades. Make sure you have your torque converter rebuilt at the same time. The converter in my '** has a diesel cut stator that drops the stall speed ~300rpm lower than stock. I like that a lot. Trans stays a bit cooler.

Upgrading your trans cooler is also a good idea.
