hello to all and thanks again for the warm welcome on the other page.... well here we go ...
im another owner here with a drive by wire 5.3 L so far im hating this set up ... had my suv at the shop all day today and they reinstalled the old t.b. and put in a throttle module by the firewall next to the brake booster .. well they drove it bout 75 miles with no problem.. so I figured hey good seems we might be in good shape.... well I get my ride and begin to go home , and what do u know 12 miles up the road the damn truck goes into derate mode again P1516 code.... damn the luck .... only thing I can figure is that ive got a wiring problem.. lol feel like pulling my hair outta head... ive tried to find threads on here bout the same problem but I don't see anything to what im experiencing ... so if anyone can chime in that be great ,,,, im having withdraws for not being able to drive her... thank u in advance.
