Howdy. My inside air fan runs slowly all the time...even tho I have the speed control knob all the way to the left.
I guess it is designed to do this, but I don't like it. Any of you gents know how to make it go truly off when the control is all the way to the left ?
Many thanks, Pete

My initial guess would be that some of the resistors in the speed control may be burned out, thus it is not connecting for other speed selections, I'd look at that first. If that is not the solution to your issue, I'd then check the blower motor itself.

Let me know if I have this right -- you're looking for a way to turn the fan off completely?

It should turn off if the left knob is all the way counterclockwise. Are you sure the fan is still running? Or maybe the control is bad?

Thanks. I have the manual also and read that. I have it off. I always notice it while driving so I need the check it when parked. Maybe air is coming thru the system from vehicle movement ?? I know on some vehicles there is always fan on for fresh air into cabin. I was thinking that is what this is. I will check again when parked to make sure fan is running...but am pretty sure it is. Thanks much for your help. Pete
