Regular Radio to OEM Navigation

I am looking to swap my stock radio with an OEM Navigation replacement. I am wondering if I will need to do any wiring for a gps antenna? I am hoping that the switch will not be difficult and if they are interchangeable that would be great. Thanks in advance for the help.

I can't help with the availability or install but before you spend a lot. .......IMO, it is a poor navigation unit. I have a used 2013 Yukon XL that came with the Nav. System. After using Garmin for many years, I am not very pleased with the GM unit.

If youre using it for the actual navigation - buy a garmin / windshield mount for your smart phone. Factory nav in these years is really no good. If youre wanting it to have a screen in your dash - then yes the install is very easy. You wont have the plug for the speed sensor / backup cam (brown plug) - I do have a bunch of them still I could send you. If you go factory - 2010 added a USB port, and 2012 is hard drive based. You can store music on the hard drive, it has a much better interface, and the nav is a LOT faster.
