Relocating or Removing roof mounted climate controls

I have added quite a few exterior LEDs and I am getting ready to wire up all of the rocker switches. I need 5 rocker switches and I don't really see any good available space on the dash for all 5 with out breaking them up. I'd like to have them all in one spot. The area on the ceiling mounted climate controls looks like the perfects spot to fit all 5 switches. Anybody have any experience relocating the controls or even deleting them and just relying on the main controls under the radio?
