install a remote starter with keyless entry option. (polar start are good, or viper alarm/starter combo)
wire in relays to your door locks (splice in at drivers side front behind kick panel), one for unlock, one for lock, then connect to remote start module and program....done.
did mine last week and easy as a _________________________!

-i have used many brands in these trucks, polar start, viper, command start, etc...(im using autostart now which is a nice system, google for it), all of them will work in your truck (mines a 1993).
-the benifit of your year is there is no need for a by-pass module for securtiy like there is for the newer trucks.
-installing these is pretty damn straight forward, and if you choose to buy one i can tell you all the colors of wires you will be after to wire it in (if you are capable yourself).
-as far as what one for you, just search all remote starts and alarms to see what options you want, mine is a basic one way remote with 4 buttons and thats it, it will unlock doors, pop hatch and start truck, thats all i wanted.
-let me know what you find and i can give you my opinion on them if you want and install tips. (dont buy from a wal mart or other shit store like that, go to a good stereo shop for a good brand (ones i mentioend))
