The tricky part is remembering to set the climate controls where you're gonna want them, before you get out.

Or is that just me?

not sure if it goes by what you set or it goes on it’s own really. I don’t have the seat warmers on when exiting but their on when I use it. Same for heat not sure about AC. If I turn CC off before exiting it’s on when I get in.

Big Mama...

I don't have anything as decadent as seat warmers, but I'm gonna guess that their controls are independent of the regular heat/AC controls.

I have a 2 way compustar + alarm on mine. It was over $400 installed but totally worth it. I leave the heat on full blast defrost / floor when I park it at night. Let it run for about 15 minutes and when I get in the car at 4:30am to head to work its nice and toasty. I can't overstate how nice that is in the winter.

Does Compustar let it run longer? My factory remote start shuts off at 10 but I can do it twice

My compustar goes 15 minutes, i dont know if it can be programmed to go longer or not. 15 is long enough for me though, its plenty warm when i get in

LOL I have that too, but don't like it.

Even though you have to hold the button down a couple of seconds, I still manage, somehow, to keep accidently unlocking mine.

I had to develop the new habit of checking the hatch regularly.

Bummer joe, hasent happened to me once. I also have a leather cover on my remote that goes over the buttons, maybe that helps ward off accidental button pushing
