There are many ways to do it depending on the amount of time you have and your patience. It took me six hours from beginning to end but... but my tools were limited and I also chose to remove every single decal/moulding. I used a small flat-head screwdriver (with a thick towel protecting the paint) to begin lifting the pieces that would not lift with my fingers alone. Once my fingers could grip the piece it was relatively simple to pry off (On the smaller pieces I had to be careful not to rub the paint with the still stuck side of the emblem). I then sprayed/soaked the doublesided tape residue with WD40 and rubbed it away with a few towels, that were also dampened with WD40. Having a buffer would have vastly decreased the amount of time it took... Once completed I washed/dried/waxed all areas where WD40 had been applied.

Your fingers will def. get sore removing the emblems, make sure you have some rubbing compound because you will have some little clear coat scratches to buff out here and there. I used some dental floss to remove the emblems and once I had it off I used my finger to pull off all the glue and foam crap. After that I used some Kleanease to remove all the residue and buff it out with compound!:D Def. takes time and patience. Hope this helps.

Thanks,

You can also get about a 1-1.5" putty knife to get the badges started. Between the badges and your paint is a small amount of 3M adhesive. Then just pry the emblems off being careful not to scratch the paint. Use a rubber adhesive remover to remove the adhesive (saves your fingers). Then a rag and the prepsol (prep solvent used in body shops) to remove the leftover adhesive. Use some finishing polish to remove any left behind evidence that the emblem was even there.

NOTE: be careful while pulling the emblems off, don't just grip and rip (you could pull paint from the vehicle, then you will be pissed).

no no no. you guys have it all wrong. I took all my emblems off in 20 mins. NO JOKE. Use a NON MARRING pry tool (can get it at Harbor Freight $4). Them go to your local paint store and get the GIANT ERASER that goes on the end of your drill. That takes all the tape off and does not hurt your paint. You will need to buff and wax after. The buff and wax took me 3 hours.
