Guys,
Quick question my wife has an 07 Suburban and mine is a 08 Suburban. My lease is up on mine and on hers the headlight lens has become foggy so I was going to swap the whole headlight out on mine to hers. I see that there is 2 bolts that hold the headlight bucket on and when I take them out the headlight moves and I can pull it out some but it doesnt seem to be clearing the bumper on it. Any tricks or am I forgetting to do something else to get it out completely?
Thanks in advance,
Sean

It's very involved. You need to undo the fenderwell lining, and remove 3 more bolts and a bracket to free up the headlamp.

You might want to google search how to remove it and find something that shows photos.

Yep like Dirk said you are missing that one bolt on the bottom of the headlight housing. Once you remove the inner wheel well plastic cover thingy, you can easily get to this.. once all 3 bolts are removed, the headlight comes out...

Anytime Sean. Yes I did sell my Tahoe actually.. at the end of August... there is a 40+ severely de-railed Thread about it lol... I too thought it was beautiful and I hated to see it go... I needed 4wd so I had to sell it... sucks :(
