I have an 03 Denali and just installed an aftermarket head unit and have no need for the factory CD changer in the console. Is there a pocket that is available I can replace that with? Having a tough time finding one.
Yes thats true!
I was excited one night on Ebay and ordered one of those pockets without fully reading the ad and now I have a useless part that sits in the basement lol.
I am making a custom plate to cover the hole and house my Edge CTS programmer and navigation. Should work out perfect with the space we have there.
The ones that supposedly fit the '02's don't fit either. I used the bracket off my CD changer and mounted it to a single-DIN size pocket from EBay. Now it just slides in using the original mount.
That's the "Secondary Information Center". It might just be on the Denali's, I'm not sure. It displays a bunch of info regarding fuel, trip, timers, vehicle history, etc. as well as settings for things like auto door locks, headlamp delay, perimeter lamp settings, remote locks, etc.
Yeah I have an 05 Denali and it doesn't have that. Mine is controlled through the steering wheel and appears under the PRND321 on the dash. I like the separate screen. I have a cubby there.
