I have an 01 Yukon with a damaged evap core. (don't ask). I do not want to remove the dash and saw a video on how to cut access to the evap core and replace. Anyone else do this recently? I would use a dremel tool to cut through the plastic as a sawsall or grinder seem a bit too aggressive. I know I will have to seal it back up afterward.

In case someone wants to try this - it can be done. Just need to be careful what you cut with as wires are always looming. Plastic can be a bit brittle so beware. All that's left for me is to charge the system and seal the area where I cut the plastic. You tube has an ok video on replacing the evap core.
