Hello, a buddy of mine had his back window broken by a falling limb in our recent snow storm here in Washington state. He's having no luck locally find a replacement window. I was wondering if any fellow TYF members might have leads on junk yards, online or within Washington state where he might be able to find a replacement piece of glass. He has a 99 Tahoe with the lifting rear gate, not the farm door style.

I had mine replaced about a month ago. $350 dollars for the glass and having it installed. I had no luck finding glass at a junk yard, and the ones I did find where $250 dollars

Safelite did mine about 8 months ago, for 280.00. They came to my house and did it. One thing to be aware of, make sure they - or you - vacuum out the broken glass INSIDE the tailgate and hatch frame. I didn't and now the rattle when I open and close is annoying as hell. Its going to make me open that ***** back up to get it out.
I've used this site with success in the past for used parts. Sometimes I've been able to negotiate the listed price. http://www.car-part.com/
