Replacement seat cover: OEM versus aftermarket

So I called my local dealership and he quoted me $498 for a replacement seat cover for my '05 Yukon. I see aftermarket covers on eBay for $195.

Has anyone compared them, and is the quality difference enough to justify spending more than twice the price on the OEM? Is the quality difference noticeable?

Wow that's pricey. Sometimes I see entire sets on ebay for reasonable prices. Usually they are take offs from custom installs on new vehicles, or stated otherwise. Look high and low.

IMO too expensive from dealership. Ouch!!

I ordered my drivers seat off eBay for $160 pewter leather. Was perfect replacement, fir, color and softness.

Thanks, this is what I was looking for. I wasn't sure if the eBay aftermarket ones would be loose or sloppy, but yours looks factory. I'll be happy with the $195 eBay cover.

The dealer wants $121 for an OEM seat cushion versus $100-125 for aftermarket on ebay, so I think I'll source the cushion at the dealer.
