I searched and couldn't find it - My Yukon has 22,000 miles on it now, and I'll probably need to replace 2 of the tires in the next few thousand miles.

Questions:

1. What tires does everyone like in 20 inch?
2. What does everyone think of the tire stores' favorite line "you must replace all 4 tires at the same time in a 4wd vehicle!"

22K and you’re needing new tires? That doesn’t seem right.

Lots of opinions about tires here. Depends on your needs.

AWD Denali have to have all tires at the same actual measured circumference or you will chew up the drive train.

Not as critical on switchable 4WD but would at least keep each axle the same with minimal differences between axles.

I do have a denali, but it has these selections: 2WD, 4WD High, 4WD Low, Auto. I'm under the impression that, if I drive in Auto full time, then I'll only have 4WD when I need it - so that's not the same as "AWD." Mine is an XL with the trailering package.

Understand. Some folks interchange selectable 4WD and AWD as if they are the same so wanted to make sure I was clear.

you should be ok having some differences in tire circumference but I would try and keep them to a minimum as it can be hard in the transfer case and differentials.

I like the 305/50x20 tires on my Denali, and since I do not do any off-road driving, I selected the Michelin Defender tires, which I am very happy with.

Check Tirerack for recommendations and reviews. A good place to start.
