Replacing chrome on front bumper

I just swapped out the grill for the black one and the chrome on the bottom is bothering me. Anyone know if that can be painted to match the body color or just black?

Depends on how much you want to spend. You can paint it, wrap in vinyl, or just use some HyperDip/PlastiDip it.

What would be the best way to do it with regards to appearance and longevity?

That looks really good! In my opinion the lower chrome piece and trim around the fog lights should be painted to match the body color as well. I would like to get all the chrome on our slt painted body color except the trim around the windows wrapped in black.

Did you personally swap out the grill and trim? Looks like the front bumper fascia has to be removed or at least mostly freed up to get the grill off?

I’m going to see someone today about wrapping all of the chrome in gloss black. I did have the dealership install the grille. I looked at doing it and there’s just too much for my skill level to do.
