I wanting some ideas of what I can do to replace the factory sub I have. Its blown I"m sure off because it's really distorted and rattles. I have the non-bose system. What about door speaker?

Wow really nobody had any input on this at all!? Looking for something to throw in the place of my stock sub. Any ideas?

Alot of people replace the stock sub with the kicker shallow mount not sure what ohm though

i'm going to attempt to fit an 8" alpine type r there. might do an mdf ring spacer to help with mounting depth although i don't know how much this might go into the speaker grill. don't wait on me though probably won't happen for a couple months. but i'm going for a full alpine/type r system in my truck. not really because i think they're the shit, but i did a set up in my friends truck and really liked how it sound. and that was without the 8" sub.

I had to type rs b4 but then i got l7s and now i have 2 massive audio 15s but stock sub sounds bad so i disconnected it until i replace it hopefully i see sumbody replace theirs so i can see how they did it
