Repositioning outer tie rods?

So a few days ago I took off the bushing end of the upper control arms to rotate the bushings around, keeping it attached at the ball joint. It was a pita to get them back in place, had to jerk the wheel assembly multiple times in the process which the outer tie rods are also attached to at the bottom. The alignment shop pointed out to me that they are bent now. The steering also has more play in it than it did before hand. I wouldn't say they are bent, but the bushing where the outer rie rod is connected to the wheel knuckle faces forward at like a 45 degree angle instead of straight down. What I'm wondering is if I just detach them then can I spin them and reattach them correctly?

Sorry for the saga, just didn't know how to explain it in short.

Youd change the alignment if you spun them completely around.

You can reposition them though without loosening the jamnut.
