Reset oil life?????

Hello all. I have a question.

So I finally replaced my 07 Yukon SLT oil pan gasket and oil pump o ring.

I no longer have a sway brace on the front side because every single bolt sheared Off. So I will need to fix that.

Anyways. The engine oil was changed and I am trying to figure out how to reset the oil life. I say online that some people put the car to the on position and they don’t start it. Press the gas pedal 3 times fast and then turn the car off. Then others go to the oil life page on the car dash. Then press and hold the check mark. Both did not work for me. The dash is reading - - -% oil life remaining.

Does anyone have any suggestions.

Either press and hold trip odometer or turn ignition on (not started) press gas pedal 3x 1...2....3 with few sec delay in between and do not turn off Or do it thru the DIC, go to oil life and press and hold check mark

I am pretty sure I have tried this. I also had someone else that said he has done it before on his. Try mine and still says

- - - % oil remaining.

So I have realized that it doesn’t say replace oil soon anymore. But the % still has three dash marks. Could there be something wrong.
