As far as I can tell, you have a Tahoe in your avatar image. So besides all of the lights I listed, you have more OEM/factory incandescent bulbs than the Yukon. That includes the front turn signals and rear brake/turn signal bulbs. I believe your rear marker lights are LED. I am also not sure if you have front small amber side marker lights and rear small red side marker lights, and if they are already LED or not. Lasfit probably has something for you either way.
I wanted to make my front turn signals into switch backs, amber+6000k white but I don’t think that’s do able so I put the bulbs in my wife’s car as marker lights and they work great lol

Yes amber side front and rear incandescent bulbs as well as blinkers.

Nope. Super easy. Pop the tailgate, there’s a plastic vertical panel right next to each light and under that panel is 2 maybe 3 screws then the light pulled out. Easy peasy

The tail lights are super easy. Some plastic trim pry tools are very helpful on that vertical plastic panel next to each tail light.

I've seen switchbacks and they are very impressive, why is it not possible? It's my understanding that the white LED is the "marker" function and the amber LED is the "blinker" function. Seems as though it should work in any car with a two-filament bulb socket like that.

From my understanding, the front blinkers only switch on when flashing, so a dual bulb with steady on and flash will not work. Hope that makes sense…..

So what you are saying is that the lower wattage "marker light" filament of the bulb is unused. That's not surprising, I've seen that a lot.

If that's the case you could do a cheap and dirty modification by acquiring another bulb socket that has all 3 wires present and insert it, and then wire up the lower wattage filament wire to the headlight circuit or the side marker light circuit.

Ah yes I could def rob a wire from else where, have you done this to your ride ?
