right rear passenger door

Out of the blue my info screen reads that the right rear passenger door is opened... ive check that door all around and it closes correctly... when i open the door though the handle on the outside does feel a bit stiffer than the rest... this issue is preventing me from locking the truck correctly.. also its annoying as f**k when im driving and it chimes every minute... the truck is a 07 yukon sle... thnx

pin switch in the door latch going bad. you can try to hit it with some electrical grease, but probably have to swap it out

I looked for it on gmpartsdirect.com and it doesnt come out... am i gonna have to replace the whole locking machenism?

yeah. look up "Door Latch Lock Actuator Assembly"

Its very common that these go out. Simple to replace.
