Hey guys, so the other day (Monday), when I got the Tahoe, I instantly started messing around with any & everything. I really wanted to take out the third-row seats (I'm not sure why, but then again, why not?). Once I finally figured out how to remove them, I took the left seat out, but my attempts to remove the right one were unsuccessful. The right seat will fold flat (not really flat, but you know what I mean), but it won't tumble forward. When I pull the handle, it looks like the latches at the front of the seat are releasing, but when I try to pull up on the lever to tumble forward, the seat won't budge. What could cause this? It looks to me that there's been some type of damage to the plastic around the rear latches, but I didn't really think too much of it. I will include pictures below.

Any insight would help.

looks broke to me...id take it back to them and get them to fix it.

after seeing this pic from this angle, i really really am glad we got an XL.... we use the third row way more than we thought we would already and there is just zero room behind that 3rd row in the shorter ones...

Yeah, that's most likely what I'll try to do. I'm not sure how they're going to get the seat out, but whatever. If they destroy something, they have to fix it, not me.

Yeah, I have zero need for the third row seats right now. Surprisingly, to me at least, there's enough room to fit a few cubes of Mountain Dew & some groceries back there without smashing anything, & without any trouble closing the liftgate.

The biggest benifit beside the added room and the amazing weight loss from pulling those seats. They are about 64 lbs each. Makes me wonder how much the power front seats are! Probably just about 100 lbs!
