Rim Size Question

Running stock rims on my 95 Hoe 4dr, wanting to go to 17" rims. How will this affect speedo and rearend? I have a new set of 265/70-17's Destination MT's that I want too put on her. Done a search but could not find the right answer.

If I'm not mistaken, as long as the overall diameter of the tire is the same as stock, nothing else should be affected. When the tire grows in size, that's when the speedometer, rear-end, etc, are affected.

Since it's only a 1 inch difference I think it's safe to say it won't affect a thing lol.
