rims and tires

97 two door stock rims just got new tires 285/75/16. Looking at rims helo maxx 6 16x8 and mb wheels chaos 6 16x8.5. will the tires i have fit on either of these rims or will i have to get new tires because the rim is wider?Thanks for the help guys.

should be fine with either rim with 285's

You can run either set of those rims with the 285s. In fact, you can run a 16x10 wheel if you want with those tires.

youll fit them fine. What kind of lift are you running. Your gonna rub like crazy stock.

I would stick with an x8 wheel I am running 17x9 with 4.5 bs and -12mm offset with a 285/70/17. Front end almost maxed out and they still rub every now and then

I've got 285/75/16 tires on 16x8 wheels with 4" backspace and -11 offset and I have never heard the tires rub. But I have a 3" BL with ford keys and two inch blocks. I'm pretty sure I can squeeze 35's on there lol.
