Hey guys. I am fairly new to the z71 tahoe(2004 138K) that I have, but it has always had a roar or howl at about 40mph from the front end. It sounds almost like a truck with big nobby tires going down the road just not nearly that loud. It is really only noticable at 35-45mph and loudest at 40mph. It goes away with speed.

Is this normal? Should I be worried?

Check your front tires for cupping. This will occur if you don't rotate your tires very often or your shocks/struts are shot.
