I want an aftermarket roof rack for my Z71 Tahoe, do I need to take the stock one off or can i attach it directly to the stock one? Brands and recommendations would be great

What are you asking? Do you want a whole new roof rack, or some kind of carrier that attaches to the existing rack? Given those two options, the answer should be pretty self-explanatory.
