Hey guys so i have 08 ex ppv tahoe,
I just want to know would the 2005 escalade chrome roof racks fit on mine ?

Same dilemma here. No roof rack on my SSV. I bought roof rack set on ebay and then realized I would have to drill. Another project for another day. Lol.

Yeah I agree. I was just used to having one on my 98 Blazer and 08 Envoy. I used them quite a lot. But I guess I had a lot less room in those vehicles too, lol.

Well honestly im considering them for couple of reasons first off all the set is for 15 $$$ with the rivets off the old truck, and the skii season is here and i need them to put my skis, gotta love winter lol

And no i dont have the holes on the roof, but they are well needed and honestly they will look awesome on my truck since my ppv was an undercover silver tahoe wich is i belive is really rare

If it was used for under cover it's probably in nice shape. I just saw a PPV a auction that was well worn. In the description it said, "Smells like K-9". I would think that's a good one to avoid. Lol.

One option for the skis would be to get a trailer hitch ski carrier. There are plenty of them out there. On the PPV you would probably have to get the hitch installed. Curt makes one specifically for the PPV. They claim a 30 minute install time as well. That would beat drilling holes in the roof.

I have a trailer hitch cargo carrier i would use for snowboarding road trips that works awesome. And drilling holes in the roof is probably something I'd let a pro shop do just for liability like a leaking roof after.

Lol a truck smelling like a k-9 i would run the other way, i saw the curt hitch and i think it hangs too low under the bumper,
