I have a 07 Tahoe 2wd with the Rough Country 3.5" lift installed on 33" tires.

I would like to refresh the suspension as it is on the original struts and shocks.

Does anyone have any advice on which brand/route to go?

Also thinking of bumping up to 35" tires to get rid of some wheel gap.

Thanks in advance for any insight.

Get some 5100s and enjoy the improvement. Also how do you like the 3.5? I don't like the stretched lift. Probably rub like hell on 35s unless you add a body lift.

I was thinking of 5100s might as well pull the trigger. I was debating changing the rear spacer for more a lean. Overall I've had the lift on for a year and have had zero issues. Drives great just know it needs to have the shocks replaced. I've seen 35s on here on leveling kits and I have a bit of room so I should be ok with minor trimming. We will see what happens haha. Toyo open country rts and method wheels (17) will most likely be added soon as well.

Nice. FJ isn't mine it's a buddies. He actually started the So Cal FJ Cruiser forums not sure if you are familiar with them.

Most of my friends drive toyotas/fjs but I love my Tahoe.

Do you go to the desert down there or take it offroad? If so, take a look at ICON coilovers (not sure what the RC 3.5" consists of, so not sure if they are compatible). I have that on the FJ and they are great. If we keep the Tahoe I will replace the suspension with ICONs.

Yeah I have been on the So Cal FJ forum. There is another FJ forum that has more traffic and includes all regions so I am on that one.

Icons are absolutely amazing and every single one of my friends runs them. They do make an application for the Tahoe and I will definitely pull the trigger on those eventually when funds allow.
