Yes it is really quiet inside the XL.

There is a email address you can send your vin to at GM and they will provide you with a build sheet explaining what each code means. I sent off for mine right after buying my 11 Yukon XL earlier this year. Among other things I found out it began life as a rental. Hertz I believe. I may still have the address if anyone is interested, but will have to check
