Hi,
I have a 2009 GMC YUKON DENALI. I had the issue with the running board motors, so I got them fixed.
When I close the running board for the Passenger side door, the running board does not fully close. It closes to about 75%. However, when I plug in the power directly (with the door module disconnected), it closes just fine.
A local mechanic advised me that I should replace the sensor in the door, which initiates the opening & closing, of the running board.
Can anyone advise if this sounds correct?
