(1999 gmc suburban 5.7l vortec) I was driving and all of a sudden I had misfires on cly 1 and cyl 8 took a temp gun to the header to see no fire. pulled the plugs to check spark and there was good spark. so I put in a new spider injector and while in the process the ears on the distributor snapped it was a old type plastic, so I got a new distributor (aluminum body) and found tdc on a compression stroke and put the distributor in . I got the burb running but when the timing is with in +2-/-2 it runs bad and when im +18 degrees or so it runs good any ideas on what im doing wrong and thank you for your time
the codes that come in our
po340 camshaft position sensor a circuit bank 1 or singl sensor
p1345 crankshaft position ckp- camshaft position cmp correlation
the camshaft is new with the new distributor
and I put in a new crankshaft sensor because I hoping that would fix the running issues after I got to 1.5 degrees but no such luck
