I just had my 2017 Tahoe undercoated (wax based) and now I'm thinking about door bottoms and rockers.

Is is worth me getting some cans of cavity wax and taking the doors apart to spay them? I heard once that GM switched to aluminum swing panels (doors).

What other areas should I look at too? How do the rear wheel wells and quarter panels hold up?

I just do not want this one to rot like my TrailBlazer did after 13 years.

The rust on my 2010 yuk on the rear 1/4s at back bottom both from water not being able to drain.Foam just held the moisture.

Perhaps holes on the underside where the rear bumper cover clicks in might have saved it.
