Wait where is that wire going to? Is it actually going outside the truck? Seems like it will get chewed up pretty bad by the door.

1st - Please take it off your paint. It will scratch the crap out of it after some time. If you MUST run it like that, just use some double sided tape to the top of the glass.

2nd - That's ran pretty bad. You can keep it inside and it will still work fine. But if you must run it outside, run it through the firewall like you would a power wire (or some other wire). To keep it inside, just take the radio out and put the gps antenna just under the dash pad all the way to the front. It will/should get fine signal there...

Gm provides a great mounting spot just under the front of the dash right between the defrost vent and the window.

You don't even need to remove the dash piece. Just pop it up and slide your GPS puck in place. You probably won't have the metal tray pictured but the empty spot will be there just use some 3m tape and drop it in. Then just drop your cord down (be careful to route it around the defrost vent so the cord isn't in the way when you pop the dash piece back down).
