I have been using Seafoam in the fuel tank for for a few years, but today I decided to run the seafoam thru the Vacuum line and let it sit for about 15min. Did everything as instructed and was honestly disappointed...only smoked for about 1.5miles.

With 150k on the odometer...I expected more, but I guess the gas treatments have been pretty effective.

Just my $.02 for the day!

Ok, I missed the once, why?

http://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=37763&highlight=seafoam

 DO NOT USE SEAFOAM THRU THE BOOSTER HOSE IT WILL NOT WORK PROPERLY!!! YOU GUYS NEED TO STOP PASSING ON BAD IDEAS. FOR THE LOVE OF TYF. PLEASE!!!

They proper way to do it is here.: http://www.seafoamsales.com/cleanin...n-vortec-and-other-exotic-intake-engines.html

on the vortec the booster hose method usually gets the rear half clean and the front half of engine remains unclean and therefore can create uneven combustion as a results.

 I'm sure that uneven combustion is going to ruin a 50 year old engine.

the vortec intake design is not 50 years old. but per the quotes dylan found this is what i am saying.

http://www.seafoamsales.com/cleaning-the-induction-system-on-vortec-and-other-exotic-intake-engines/

i am not saying for advertising reasons at all. i am really trying to help you guys get things done properly. i dont even use the stuff myself.
use the spray and spray only and find it with the 360 straw or contact seafoam for it.

THANK YOU Sunlit. Totally makes sense now. The fact that Seafom actually acknowledges this for the Vortec motors makes it even more important. I will pickup the proper applicator for this job. AND, be sure to pass this information on to others as well. Teach a man to fish...)

Thanks
