My engine bay is disassembled. While I'm in there I want to paint the frame rails / seal them up. I have LITTLE bit of OMNI expoy sealer left. That stuff is SUPER expensive. Not sure if I want to spend $100 to do the job... But maybe?

I saw some videos where people simply used rustoleum sealer. Is that stuff any good? Does it seal up? It sure is cheap haha

Usually you get what you pay for. I painted some spots on my hitch with rustoleum--not even a year later I had the same problem. I do live in Jersey tho. You might not have an issue since you're in Arizona.

Yeah I am with you... cheap is, ahem, cheap.

I sealed some of my frame with OMNI epoxy sealer. Those spots look good as the day I painted them. I have taken my truck all over the place too.. mud, dirt, etc.

But it is 100$ for a quart of the stuff :/

I was watching that Stacey David's GearZ show last week and he had a product that is brushed on. I'm sure it was a re-run from sometime in the last couple years though. The stuff was for dealing with rust and rust proofing. It seals out air and moisture, brushes on and black in color. I can't remember the name of it though
